Photography has taken a bit of a nose dive this year, mainly because I’ve fallen back into one of my first loves, abstract art. If you would like to say hi at my new blog that would be excellent.
It has things like this on it. It’s a bit brighter and less macabre. I’m guessing my original art teacher was right when he called me schizophrenic. Bit rude but artistically could be on the right path. (and also I quit after a month to be a musician) I still have all the skulls watching while I paint though… Just waiting.
I found the chrysalis of this six spot barnet moth a week ago. It decided to race out and dry off before I got chance to see it happening. However it was happy to dry off on a flower outside for a bit before flying away.
I’ve been tinkering with these shots for over a month now. Time to let them free before they are the death of me!
A quick photo of the completed ‘family’. A muntjac, rabbit, badger and three very weathered sheep skulls. Looking forward to getting the imagination on them. Already commissioned for a voodoo style photo for a band… Should be fun! Or very macabre.
What do you do when you’re given lovely flowers at work and find a load of dead moths in your upturned lamp…
